PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) is the principal piece of Australian legislation protecting the handling of personal information about individuals. This includes the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information. Mother Touch recognises the Act within its own policies and procedures in the collection and management of data.

The information you provide us we keep completely confidential, and is used so we can communicate with you as a business and for continuity of care in our professional treatment and practice. No details are ever shared or sold to a third party and we always get your express permission to liaise with your allied health provider or provide it to you in writing for your discretionary use.

By law we will keep your records for the minimum timeframe of seven years from the date of the last entry in the patient’s record for adults or until the person is 25 years of age.
